Here’s what I’ve noticed in the market this week.
Well-priced homes are selling quickly, and a lot of times with multiple offers. Just this past week, I saw a home in the $400k–$500k range go under contract within a few days with multiple offers. I also saw another one around $900k go under contract in less than a week, again with multiple offers.
It really doesn’t matter the price point right now. When a home is priced accurately (or slightly below market value), it’s competitive.
Buyers who are pre-approved and positioned to make strong, clean offers are the ones seeing success in this market.
As we approach spring, we historically see more inventory hit the market. While that does create more options for buyers, it usually also brings more competition.
If you’re thinking about buying or selling, now’s the time to start having those conversations with an agent and a lender. The more prepared you are, the more advantage you’ll have!
